Our Team

Dr. Stephen Wallace is a graduate of Marquette University (Milwaukee, WI) with a Bachelor of Science degree in Biology and the Marquette School of Dentistry with a Doctor of Dental Surgery degree. He completed his General Practice residency at Illinois Masonic Medical Center in Chicago. He began his dental practice in Western Springs in 1996, moving to La Grange in 2001. Dr. Wallace and his wonderful, experienced team have been serving families from La Grange, La Grange Park, Highlands, Countryside, Brookfield and surrounding suburbs for nearly three decades. He is an active member of the American Dental Association (ADA), the Illinois State Dental Society and the Chicago Dental Society. Outside of his dental practice, Dr. Wallace enjoys spending time with his wife, Claudia, and two sons, Cody and Dirk. He also loves traveling and working out, and, as you can tell from our aquatic-themed office, he is a very avid scuba diver.

Maria has worked with Dr. Wallace for most of her career in the dental field. Maria says that Dr. Wallace is a fantastic dentist with a great sense of humor and she appreciates how his personality meshes with patients of all ages and backgrounds. Maria takes pride in making patients feel taken care of the second they walk through the door into a safe and friendly office environment. In her free time, Maria loves to read and spend time with her family and friends, and she also enjoys her precious fur babies and crazy parrot.

Joanne has worked with Dr. Wallace for over 20 years as the front desk scheduling coordinator. She enjoys getting to know the patients and their families while helping them stay on schedule for their dental needs. Joanne lives in the area with her husband, and has 3 children, 3 grandchildren, 2 grand-dogs, 6 grand-kitties, and 1 cat of her own! In her spare time, she enjoys reading and spending time with her family.

Jessie attended Kalamazoo Valley Community College (Kalamazoo, MI) and graduated in 2008 with an Associate of Applied Science in Dental Hygiene. Shortly afterward, she moved to the Chicagoland area and in 2016 joined Dr. Wallace's team. Jessie greatly enjoys helping patients achieve their brightest smiles possible. She fills her spare time with running, reading and traveling.
